headers on a 01 gt

I have the engine out of a 01 gt mustang. While its out we want to put some long tube headers on it. I know with the engine in the car you usually have to remove the k member to get the headers in. id rather not do that. Does anyone know if i can install the engine with the long tube headers on or should I just go with a shorty style? are shorty headers even worth putting on? engine is all stock.

ive taken in mine in and out with long tubes on a million times lol

Shortys or long tubes are not worth it on a stock engine, save your money.
