Header Bolts

What should I put on header bolts before I put them in? Last time around I put nothing and after about 750mi they are loose again. I was told by a buddies dad to put locking header bolts but 1. I'm not wasting my time on spending $$$ on a 3.4. 2. I don't even know if they make them. 3. I heard most of the time those locking bolts don't work anyways.

if you put new gaskets on they will loosen up (gasket will compress)and you will have to re tighten them 1-2 times then they should stay tight, i just check mine every once in a while

I have used the gray Anti-Sieze on my ARP Header bolts with good luck.

Maybe that's it. I just put new header gaskets on!

If they keep loosening up I'll try that too! It's not a hard job but I'd much rather be sitting on my butt drinking beer than working on that car.

Stage 8's worked good for me as well....otherwise, I just think you have to re-tighten them a few times.
