Having a crankshaft checked?

What is the standard practice at a shop when checking to make sure a crank is fit for use?

Assuming it's clean, start with Magnaflux.
Then break out the mics to see if it's round and straight, or if has already been cut.
Then check for runnout. (See if it is bent)
If it passes all that, strighten, grind, chamfer, polish, balance.

Oops. It's a brand new crank. Untouched from what I understand. I basically would like to. Check for roundness and runout then plan on selling it and any other work done by the person I am selling to during their build.

I don't. I'll be taking it to Greg's cylinder heads to have it checked for $25.

I literally watched Greg check it... The whole process takes less than 15 mins. If I had the tools, id do it myself...
