Has anyone dealt with Hans Auto Electric in Wixom? Alternator rebuild

Ok, so I've been suspecting an alternator problem with my 3G. Been loosing voltage to the battery according to my datalogs. Anyways I took the Alt to Autozone and they tested on there little machine. It passed, 3 times to be exact. So ok, maybe I have an issue with my wiring. I had to go to advance to pick up some other stuff and decided to take the alternator in there and have them test it as well for assurance in my mind that it is ok. Tested it over and over gain, failed everytime. I figure well maybe its there machine maybe having a bad connection. He grabs a new alternator off the shelf and it passed with flying colors. Granted these machines only give you a pass/fail and not voltage output or amperage.

So for the "tie breaker" I take it to Oreillys. They have the same machine as autozone. They test it 3 times, and passes each time. So now im like WTF.

I heard from a Co-worker that Hans does rebuilds, so I call them up and explain the situation. He says oh we have a $10k state of the art machine to test it and we can tell you if its good or not. I drop it off to him because they are too busy to test my unit while im there, even though I see him surfing the net when I walk in. Whatever

I talk to him today after he tested it and he says it has zero output. Now why the hell would these other 2 places say its ok and Mr. Hans is saying no output needs rebuild? I'm stumped.

On top of everything they want ~$130 to rebuild it, I can get a lifetime warranty reman from the parts store for $100. Another Rebuild joint told me $65.

He says the other companies use junk chinese parts and that he uses high dollar stuff to keep his good name.

I just want some opinions, what do you guys think?
