Gretchen Whitmer to propose $0.45/gallon gas tax to fix roads

My only fear is that the 45 cent thing was part of a bait and switch. She had to know that it was going to fail miserably. So what is her next step, ask for half of it? The Senate guy says that the first step is taking $600 million or so in sales tax on gas that doesn't go to the roads (it goes to schools) and put it back for the roads. So then she is going to have to make that up. So where does that come from?

Stay tune for part two of her plan to soak the taxpayer.

If you had Taxes that made sense you could get 95% of people on board and It would fix the problems. Fixing the road tax would be incredibly easy, I could fix them during dinner on a napkin, So you know hey are not taking care of it on purpose.
