.GREAT DEAL 0.39 Carat Diamond and Platinum Wedding Ring Set Certified & 0.24 Carat Band Gold $500!

This thing has been sitting around for 2 years while my wife decided if she wanted to keep it or not since we got a new one to replace it. First $500 cash takes it.

The item is a wedding band set consisting of platinum, certified diamonds, and white gold! There are two rings in the set. I had both appraised as a jewelry store in my area about two years ago. They gave me a hand written estimate of value along with a retail estimate of value which will come with the ring. I also have the original cash register receipts from when I bought this ring which will be included in the auction. The diamond in the main ring is certified by the Eurpoean Gemological Laboratory. We are selling as we have upgraded to a larger stone since we now have the means to do so but did not when we first got married. This would be an excellent set for a young couple looking to get a good value on an absolutely beautiful set. I will describe each individually below.

The main ring was described in the appraisal as follow: "Ladies Platinum Diamond Solitaire Ring. Featuring one round brilliant cut diamond. Set in a 4-prong head with SI2 clarity, F color, weighing 0.39ct. EGL diamond grading report US189981050." The ring was certified on 6/14/2002 and measures 4.70-4.66x2.88mm. The ring is stamped with PT950 ZEI. The retail value appraisal for this ring was $1,125. I also have the original receipt from 7/27/2002 where I paid $1,141.94 for the ring. Keep in mind both of these purchases were made when Platinum was well below its current market value.

The wedding band was described in the appraisal as "Ladies 14K white gold diamond wedding band. Featuring 12 round brilliant cut diamonds channel set across the top of the ring with I1 clarity, H-J color, weighing approximately .24ct total weight. The retail appraisal for this ring was $710. I also have the original receipt from 11/29/02 where I paid $336.94 for the ring.

In total the ring appraised for a retail value of $1,735 and I paid just shy of $1,500 for the ring.
