Anyone here do this stuff? Half my driveway is those little white pebbles. It's been 10 years or more since it was done. Is like to have it topped off.
Any sponsors do this work?
Let me know if you have any recommendation.

Thanks!

21aa = crushed concrete

my 80ft driveway took about 8 yards, wasn't too expensive

21a is crushed limestone. It has a sharp pointed shape. Not round. It is ideal bc it will compact hard. Unlike round stones.

i just called a place near lapeer newark arregrate or something like that. 21aa crushed is $10.50 a yard and lime is $22.50 a yard plus truck fees

You want the 21AA (1" & smaller with dust), that is crashed limestone.
If you have any kind of "base", that will top-dress great.

As stated, the 21AA is jagged, not rounded, so it "locks together".
The "dust" then helps to hold it all in place.

If you have no base, get the 1"-3" limestone laid down,
then top-dress with the 21AA.

I think my base is good, cuz it's the older pebble crap that was pressed into the dirt. The bare part is basically concrete solid now, just not concrete. It's a little low, so if I get a few inches of this stuff and cover the dirt portion I should be good.
Can I just pull up with a pickup and have them fill it? Then go home and spread it over?

Yes, but you should get "delivered" pricing as well.

This stuff is very heavy & when they deliver it they
can "tailgate dump it" - dump it as the truck moves
down the driveway, to help spread it.

thats what I'm thinking too.
I ordered a yard of dirt before though, dirt was say $10, delivery was $60 to go 2 miles.
That's why I ask about using my own.
Even if it cost $100 for them to bring the stuff and dump it, I'd be good with that.
My thinking was this might cost me $500 or more.
