Grand Prix trouble?

The car is taking a long time to heat up and will bearly move from 160 on the temp guage. I thought it was the thermostat sticking open. When I started looking under the hood I noticed both cooling fans were running. I dont think they should be running in this cold of weather right from the start. Does anyone have any help?

did you have the defrost on? that runs the A/C and that can make the fans come on

my car doesnt go over 160 either but the fans are hardly ever on lol
