I was talking to a friend of mine earlier today and mentioned that we needed to get some videos playing around in his cars. He told me to come over, and was nice enough to let me drive all 3. Ferrari Scuderia, 1 of 90 in the US, ZR1 tuned by Livernois Motorsports, and 911 Carrera S Twin Turbo Cabriolet.

All 3 of them are amazing cars and different in their own ways. The Ferrari was my favorite, followed by the ZR1, then the Porsche.

That's sick, sweet video too. I don't really care for the "automated manuals" that are all the rage right now, I prefer a good old clutch pedal, but that's me.....the Ferrari sounds sweet.

The Ferrari isn't quite like most cars with paddle shift. It uses Forumla F1 technology and actually has a clutch, just no pedal.

From Exotic Car Insider:

It now has an ungraded 'F1 Superfast' transmission that shifts in 60 milliseconds. With shifting that is far faster than a human and a 503 horsepower engine, the car flies from 0-60 MPH in just under 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 198 MPH.

Drive one. It will change your mind. I have taken out a Gallardo & LP640, both e-gear cars and absolutely love them. The cars are so aggressive with shift points, gear engagement, rev matching, it is just as much fun to click through the gears as it is to row.
