Goodyear.com Price Match

Wanted to pass this along if anyone is looking for tires. Goodyear.com will now price match ANY online retailer with tires in stock. I used some random website discountedwheelwarehouse.com and they price matched $172 tires down to $127.42 each. I didn't have to pay a dime for shipping either. Saved over $200 on 4 tires, got 6 months same as cash financing and a $85 mail in rebate. I couldn't believe they price matched so low. Discount tire would have been $760 installed. I paid $510 installed after the mail in rebate.
 
Just curious, how receptive are the tire shops to the "bring your own tire" approach? Need new tires on the truck before snow flies and likely looking at $1k going the normal, retail route.

Some are fine... Some are assholes...

I always go see Spanky at Aranda's Tire in SW Detroit... He runs that shop like a boss and never had a issue...
