I really hate to even make this thread but student loans are coming up and I'd like to pay off my credit card before they start. I really hate to possibly sell it but I'd really like to start out life in debt. The car is extremely clean inside and out. Never seen a winter in its life!

1999 Pontiac Trans Am - LS1/M6
-81,xxx miles
-Ebony, leather, interior - excellent condition
-T-tops

MODS
DRIVETRAIN
-SLP LoudmouthII catback
-K&N cold air intake
-Hurst Billet Plus
-Lou's Short Stick

STEREO

-10" Kenwood Sub in Subthump.com stealthbox
-250w MTX amp mounted on custom amp rack
-Pioneer door and B pillar speakers

SUSPENSION
-Vogtland Lowering springs

The car rides beautiful! IMO, it rides better than stock. Not like the suspension is welded solid like on a lot of lowered cars.

WHEELS/TIRES/BRAKES

-ZO6 Motorsports 17" C5 ZO6 rims
-Feirce HP 245/45R-17's
-85-90% tread left
-I never heard of them until put them on but they grip great in both dry and wet conditions.
-New Raybestos Pads in Front and Rear

OTHER
-Windsheild banner (20%?)
-Limo Tint on hatch
-SLP Strut Tower Brace - Black
-New "Trans Am" and Phoenix on sail panel
-Red "PONTIAC" Inlay in rear bumper
-Front and rear clear side markers

Cons:
-Front rotors need to be turned
-Front bumper needs to be resprayed

Can you not always have a year to go until you plan to buy a car? Seems like 2 years ago you were saying "If this were next year I'd be all over this"

 No kidding huh. Well I was going to get one but alot happened this year with my job and some other things. Next year I wont be in your situation where I'm in debt and need to get rid of something I like because I wasn't smart about my money spending.

the ws6 hood would complete this car ! awesome car good luck with the sale !

If I keep it I'd really like to do a Raptor hood. Chances are I'd end up with a WS6 hood because you can come across them so cheap.

Truth be told, I'm not like thousands of dollars in debt like you might think. I'm trying to pay off the like $1500 I have on my card but the biggest reason is I graduate in December and that means in March my student loan payments start. Right now I only pay interest on the loans.

I'd really like to keep this car because I wouldn't feel bad about cutting it up or doing an engine build. Once I'm lined up with a nice job my goal is to get a house and before I plant the seed and start a family get a low miles, 6spd, ebony leather, ttop equipted 98+ WS6 to keep for the rest of my life like my dad did with his Mustang. I'd really like a silver or red one!

Good luck - I've got one with 5,6xx miles. I had one before the house that I sold and got one again after I got out of school and bought a house /married, etc. Stick to your plan :)

I'm 6 months away from graduation but I'm trying to plan ahead as best I can. My first purchase is a house, then WS6 to leave stock, then a ratty LS1 F-body I can cut up and beef up! ....Oh, a wedding ring in there somewhere but that's for her. I told her for the wedding I want a new set of rims! I can't wear a wedding band working on cars anyways!
