over the last month i've done a bunch of junk to my z28, much of it to get ready for this 2600 mile roadie coming up. its got a new dls 9" rear, sjm double adjustable lower control arms, 1/2" spacers in the rear to get some added clearance(springs i ordered are on backorder, the sportlines sit so low), new pioneer cd/mp3 player, alpine front speakers, and a custom mounted aeroforce interceptor gauge. the gauge is pretty cool, it plugs into the obdII port and gives you all kinds of readings, and it can scan and delete codes. i did the autotrix passenger window wiring mod too, figured my co-pilot could use a window that worked decent since i don't have a/c.
i thought they'd turn out better, but it was a bit too dusky. but here are some pics:
the spacers give it a raked look, i kind of like it

i took some aluminum at work and cut it into a 4 7/16"x 2 1/4" piece....a toolmaker friend machined out the hole, and i welded two tabs with holes to the back to bolt it to the bezel.....i brushed it and clearcoated it and it turned out pretty good(sorry about the pic quality)

departure is coming quickly:rockwoot:
