Getting a New Project Car to Finish

I am going to get a new Studebaker. A guy and his brother were doing this and the guys brother passed away. He doesn't want to finish it, so I am buying it.

I am hoping to have a good start on it while Darko's car is in Paint Jail...He sent me a list of parts and has nearly everything to finish it. I am going to Oregon to take a look at it. I am getting a pretty good deal on it.......

That is funny you said that. I normally want a nice paint job, but with this car I thought exactly the same thing. It doesn't look like a fake patina, it looks just about correct.
 
That is ridiculously cool. I am jealous. I'd put something cooler between the fenders, but what a bad ass hot rod that is.
 
Just two little thoughts....

Name the finished car after & in honor of the brother that passed away, ie, "George".

Invite the other brother up here to Michigan to ride in the finished car in the Woodward
Dream Cruise.

Not sure who you mean? I only have one brother, is alive and kicking and lives about a mile from me.....

I dunno about paint yet. I think I'll do the underside and paint the interior, but leave the outside as is.....

Yes, I bought it - It is being picked up tomorrow, Jan 31 in Oregon. Huge thanks to Darko for arranging the transport to me. I should have it in about a week...

Ohhh, I forgot to mention that Krazybones is no longer with us - He has fallen off the face of the earth and won't respond anymore....He is dissing all of his old friends now.
