I thought the LS3 Camaro crank pulley hugged the block a little compared to the truck; and that the Vette pulley was the one that was really close to the block? Correct me if I'm wrong. I know that with the truck setup, I can't run a car intake. Hm..
I'm really indecisive on an LS3 intake and a GMPP single plane.
Nope, here's the tale of the tape.
Corvette, G8, CTSV (both gens) are on the tightest belt track. Center of belt is 90mm off the front of the block iirc.
LS1 Camaro, GTO are on the "mid" belt track, ~112mm off the front of the block. (Brain is a bit fuzzy, I had this memorized 7-8 years ago)
09+Camaro, 99-13 Fullsize truck and van, and trailblazer, Colorado, canyon, H3 Alpha are all on the furthest out track. The LS3/L99 pump looks like the corvette pump, just has longer legs. The outlet is on the drivers side, same as 08+ c6, but 40mm forward.
Depending on the year of truck pump, it will clear the car throttle body. It also depends on how the belt runs.
Single plane intake looks bitchin. I am not having a problem making power with the cathedral port carb intake.
HTH.
