I need to see if my math is correct. I am thinking about a 4.30 gear but I dont want to shift out of 4th. 4th gear is 1.00:1. my tire runout is 6.83'. 6000RPM engine= 1395.3 RPM tire (6000/4.3) 1395.3 rpm tire x 6.83' = 9530 ft/min, 9530 ft/min / 5280(feet in a mile) = 1.8MPM, 1.8 MPMx60= 108.3MPH
so my top speed at 6000RPM in fourth gear should be 108.3MPH
Is my math correct?
I checked it against my known top speed with a 3.27 rear at around 140 and my math came out to 142 so I think it's sound.
