Even though the heater is gone, I will still answer this question for you. The heater I listed did have an off switch which would effectivly turn the heat OFF. Now this heater is primarily used in the winter months so when you turn the heater off you are essentialy allowing cold air to move in and take over your work space, giving the effect of A/C.
