Ok so I am a big fps player on ps3. My son who is 8 wants to play games "like dad's". He has seen me play CodMW MW2 Black op's BFBC2 and the resistance games. Both campaign and online. So my question is, if santa were to bring him a new 360 game this year which do you guys consider to be the lesser of all the evil's?? LOL I'm torn. Thoughts? Input? And as always thanks in advance!!

That's a tough call. I don't want to tell you how to raise your child. It's your call on what he can, and cannot play.

But to be honest... why not go the more "fantasy route" with games like Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST or Halo Reach? Sure, you can go the more realistic shooters, but the Halo franchise is a lot less... graphic.

Or... go full bore graphic as all hell and get a game like Gears of War 1 or 2.

I would agree with the guy above and say go for Halo. I guess COD would be okay but I would turn off the XBL chat for all the clowns on their mics.

Agreed x 1,000,000

Yeah any kind of online play is strictly forbidden for him. The language is way to out of control. When I play online I run the audio through my b/t so e doesnt hear any of it. As for Halo that might be a thought. Ive never seen a Halo game to be honest but will check it out thanks. Fantasy would be a great route but Im not familiar with anything thats not aliens or zombies lol. He currently has ghost recon and that game is terrible. Not because of content it just plain out sux lol.
Thanks,
Tim

I just got Black Ops and even in the campaign mode, there is alot of un-neccesary F bombs and what have you.Makes it hard to play the game with little one walking in the room.I would stick to Halo like mentioned for a young one!

i have halo3 for 360 and i never play it... not sure where youre at but if you wanted to borrow it it would be cool with me

Or, if he wants to play games like Dad, pick up Forza or one of the Need For Speed games and play with him for a little while. See if he gets hooked on car games.
