I've got a pushrod smallblock Ford and anticipated using some four hole Bosch injectors that I've got in my posession, but I've been doing some reading/research and there seems to be opinions about the broader spray pattern of the four hole units causing issues (excessively wetting down the port walls). However, no one can seem to provide any data that supports claims of them causing problems.
I've seen the Youtube videos comparing them on a test stand and I understand the concept, but does anyone have any first hand experience with issues related to using these on a pushrod engine (the claim is that the wider spray pattern was developed for modular engines with the wider intake ports...hence the broader spray pattern)? Or is it simply speculation and B.S.?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
