The only reason im selling is because Vista fucked up im now getting a boot/bcd error and my gateway copy of vista wont boot like its telling me to. So im going to use this opportunity to get a new macbook pro that ive been wanting. The computer will work fine with a fresh os install.

specs
Antec nine hundred case
rosewill 500w PS
AMD 6400+ dual core processor
ASUS M2N-32SLI mobo
4gb G.Skill ram
500gb Western Digital sata HDD
sata DVD burner
XFX nvidea 8600gts video card
22" widescreen Samsung monitor

Im pretty sure thats all of it. The computer is great and I hate to sell it but I really want that macbook. I play COD 4 on it and it looks amazing. The mobo had built in wi-fi, upgradeable to 8gb ram.The only problem is the sound output built on the mobo stopped working for some reason. The front output works though. I still have all the boxes for everything (case, mobo, processor, monitor)

Ill start out asking $1000 for it all.

Its dusty in the pictures btw

Im getting a MBP next month so ill see if I can get this sold or not.

Its working 100% now. Fresh install of Vista. The rear audio still doesnt work. Thats the only problem. It has a new sony dvd burner cause the lite on one took a crap. Its still installed in the pics, but im taking it out as soon as I get done with this.

Im also including a Microsoft bluetooth wireless mouse. That was like $80 by itself.

$700?

Im not looking to bust your balls here, but you can build this system on newegg right now for less than 700 shipped brand new. I took a huge hit on my last gaming machine too :(

Unfortunately unless it has an Apple on it it's worth about 1/3 of what it was new. Good luck with the sale man.

how new of a build is this? I was thinking of building a new rig (more specifically when Diablo 3 comes out), but your computer is almost exactly the build of mine and mine is 2 years old. Of course, mine cost about 1100 when I built it 2 years ago through Newegg, so it's a good deal, but just curious if the hardware is still that stagnant. I know AMD has their AMD BLack 3129837520938475 core processors, but I don't think they are as good as the i7's. So just curious when this was built.

I built this in January of 08. I paid about $1200 or so for the everything and $300 for the monitor. Im sure this computer could handle all the new games out there with ease. Throw in a 64bit OS, 4 more gigs of ram and get another video card for SLI.

Anything other than Vista. Why would you punish that poor computer with Vista.
