Could you use this for video conferencing through MSN Messanger?

So my mother could have live video chat with the grandkids in Colorado? If so, what software would both parties need on the computers?
 
I am using mine with Skype to talk to friends in Australia. Works great for that, I think that is what you are asking about :D
