This bike is very fast. I did not feel the need to mod the engine. As fast as a very well modded V-Rod. All mods were done to increase its appeal and clean up the lines. The drop is nice, but will rub pegs and the frame if leaned into the chicken strip.

I get compliments everywhere, on the road, at meets, even non-motorcycle people. The bike is very visible (white), and I feel white and lighter colors are safer on the road since drivers will see you easier. I ride with a white helmet and leather.

Bike should get fresh oil before riding as current oil is from early this year. Marks on rear differential are from pillion helmet on holder and will be polished out before sale handoff. Bike runs perfect, newer battery, Redline fluid in differential, Yamaha OEM in engine (planned synthetic after 5000 miles). I am selling the bike since I barely ride it, and to make room for another toy.

Amber LED turn signals in LED bar with center red for second brake light, just wasn't able to catch during a "flash".

Very nice and low mileage bike, GLWS.

BTW - How do these compare to VRODs in the quarter mile (stock Vs stock)? I never bothered reading more about how those two compare, but I must say they look "similar," to a certain extent.

Thank you, gentlemen!

I have a friend with a black one, rode it once and decided to get one. But I couldn't get the same color. Back them there was black, silver, and purple. In 2007 they dropped the purple and added white. This was (supposedly) the first white m109r sold in MI.

Another friend has the nicely modded v-rod I compared my bike to. Power commander, screaming eagle pipes, intake, and a few others on a lowered stance. Amazing bike! ImO the vrod feels like a lower center of gravity, smaller, more sport like. The controls of the vrod and its tactile feedback feel better, more smooth, very comparable to driving a porsche versus a toyota. The M105R is larger and i feel more comfortable on highways, not to mentiin it doesn't have the heat issue the vrod has that burns your inner thighs.

I have not taken the bike to the 1/4 mile, but I would fart around with Danny in the vrod all the time. It was always a drivers race. Sometimes I would jump ahead at the hole and not gain much after, other times he would. We both considered both bikes to be about equal in the 1/4, but we never got much above 100mpg during the shennannigans. I have gone 135mph on my bike and other than the wind trying to rip me off the bike and the helmet off my head, it felt solid and well planted, and begging for more.
