Hey Motown friends, I'm selling my beloved Malibu project car. :( The pics pretty much speak for themselves but below is a list of details.

Original 283, Powerglide car. Manufactured in CA. 3.08 open, 10 bolt rear. 4-wheel drum brakes. The blue you see in the pics is the original color.

I bought this car in Las Vegas (I lived there) back in 1998 and put quite a bit of work into it to make it run and drive. Once I completed the work, I drove it for about 60 miles before we trailered it back to MI in 2000 and it has sat under a tarp ever since.

Here is the list of the new items I put into it:
GM crate 350
Rebuilt TH 350
New Painless wiring harness
MSD AL Ignition
MSG Blaster Coil and Distributor
RPM performer intake
650cfm Edlebrock carb
Cragar Rims with BFG tires
PST poly bushings all the way around (except body mount bushings)
Used POR-15 to paint the chassis and underbody of car
Braided fuel lines
Rebuilt radiator

All of these items above only have about 60 miles on them but the car has sat the last 10 years. Engine spins no problem. I pulled all the wiring back out of it when we got back to MI so the critters of the night wouldn't munch on them.

The body is fair. The rear quarters and trunk floor are shot. As you can see from the pics, the door jabs and floor pans are definitely restoreable. The front fenders and hood will need replaced if you decide to restore it. I drove it as is around Las Vegas and it was quite fun! I wish I had the time/$$$ to invest in it but I don't. I hate to see it waste away and I would love for someone to return it to its glory days!

I'm asking $3000 or best reasonable offer. I am putting the add in Motown first, if no takers, then I will spread my ads to other places. The best way to contact me is by my email ([email protected]). I will try and check back here at this site as much as I can but my email goes right to my phone.

Thanks guys and don't hesitate to ask questions!!

You really consider that body to be in fair condition?

Well, I guess it depends on what you compare it to. I've been around cars made in the 40's to the mid 70's my whole life and based on the things I've seen, I would call it fair. If you compare it to what you see on Woodward or modern muscle, like fox body's and the like, then it'd be poor. I tried to describe it as best I could, along with some pics, and I figure some will be turned off by it while others will see potential. This car, in my opinion, based on the ones I've worked on in the past, and have helped others work on, has a great deal of potential.
