The guy in the GT is a funny guy. He bought a bunch of race gas but didn't know you have to turn the boost up to make it go faster. So that was on pump gas 18psi. Will be running next month with a 110 tune and 24 psi.

Heffner has a customer that owns a Switzer 911 that swears up and down it will 0-60 in the 2.Xs all day on the street. Dies after 100 but retarded fast off the line.
 
Are they racing a mile? That looks fun as hell! Is that taking place on the straight of the Nurburging or something?
 
It's at some old Russian auto test facility or something. That shit is crazy to have walls that close going that fast with people standing there.

The dude put on some KW shocks or something and said it fucked the car all up off the line. Seems true because the car is definitely sitting weird and it's not a good sign when you leave the line and you're leaving huge trails of white smoke. The car runs on wastegate springs in first and makes like zero torque before 4000rpm so it's pretty hard to roast them like that unless you're really trying.

Do you know how far they race by chance? It looks like they record times and what not too?

Not sure. I'm sure they say something in the video, but unless you speak Russian, we're out of luck. I know they had lights at the mile. That video with the LP640 he's excited that he hit 223mph, but there's no way he hit that in a mile. My guess is they were going at least a mile and sometimes more like 1.75 miles.
 
Hate to post this, but R.I.P. Alex.

Sadly the owner of the white tt gt died in a car accident involving the GT this weekend. Only talked with him once when he sent me something via Western Union and exchanged messages on the internet, but felt he was a nice guy with a real passion for cars. It's always terrible to see your spiritual brethren die even doing what they love. Unfortunately it was a wreck on a city street and a driver in a van was also killed. This was not a racing related accident.

Please be careful out there. :cry:
 
Geez, he is dead... How do they get ahold of the Heffner and Switzer stuff over there ? They buy cars from here done or send theirs over here ? Good vids!!!
