That sounds more like a dispatcher issue or maybe an idiot who called for the tow truck and failed to relay that they had an AWD car. Based on the position of the car and the condition of the street/weather (dry/sunny), I'm blaming the owner.

Looks like the car was side swiped (or the driver door was damaged prior to the crash).
That car doesn't matter how it was towed, it's fvcked.

Otherwise awd = flat bed or all 4 on the road.

is it me or or is everyone missing that the pole was not inside the car until the tow truck tried to pull it backwards?!?!?!!??!

Whats the purpose of the dollies then? U can put the front wheels on those and tow it...can u not? I thought thats how repo trucks did it that didnt have flatbeds....

Thought that was the purpose of this thread :gr_confus

thats what i thought but everyone is too busy worrying about the AWD system rather then the pole throught the floor and roof?!

Guess I am glad I am not the tow truck driver. I don't think I would have thought that the fence post sitting almost horizontal would shish-kabob the car like that.. Though that had to have made the winch work a little harder than usual.

The first time I looked at the pics I thought somebody got pissed and shoved the fence post through the windshield, and the post was just sitting next to the seat..

phuk...

i heard a story about something like this. someone was pulling a car out of the snow while the driver was in the car. same thing happened. pole in the driver though
