Yep too bad they don't have the 727. The 9 inch though I can see over the DANA 60 just for quicker gear swaps.

I totally agree. What is that like a mid seven second car? And it has collectible value? Seems fair to me.

Nice car. NMCA ran the factory stock classes a few weeks ago at Martin and it was awesome to watch. Drivers/crew earn their money trying to get those cars off the line on relatively small tires (9" slicks I think). The field there ranged from 7.77 to 8.21 in just awful air. DA was 3800 ft at times. Not a bad price for a ready made race car. I'm sure a fair amount of factory support comes with that. Good luck to your friend and keep us updated on how he does.
