France breaks world speed record for rail trains
Souped-up locomotive hits 357.2 mph but can't top levitated train mark

these trains are bad ass, I ride on this train every year when we visit my GF family in Bretagne France. the average speed is about 175-200 MPH for most destinations, but they are constantly upgrading for long distance travel without stops for instance the newer tracks will hold 300 MPH average speed. and these trains are smooth as silk..

Sorry. Didn't see that when I was posting. He should have included the link, though. It's hard to comprehend without the video. And if you compare it to the video of the Brit driving the Bugatti Veyron at 253mph and then realize that this is a train and not a car, it's that much more impressive.:badass:
