I guess everyone in the country must know about Buffalo getting over 7 feet of snow last Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday.

So your stadium is hosting our home game because Ralph Wilson Stadium and the surrounding area is buried.

If you go to the Lions web site you can pick up free tickets to the game for Monday Nov 24th at 7pm.

Please pick up some tickets and support the Bills as many of our fans will not be able to attend do to the storm and continued clean up efforts.

The 90 Freeway is finally open and things are looking better although now there may be flooding with the 40,50,60 degree temps in the next few days

I have to work Monday and Tuesday so I can't make the drive to support the team.

Go Bills... and Lions,i always pull for your team in the NFC.

They gave away all tickets within 15 minutes. Lol. Goes to show that no matter what crappy team plays at ford field, you can count on the kool aid addicts to be there.

Not true. I didn't jump online until almost 10:45 and got 6 tickets. I'm on vacation this week so something fun to do on my day off.

I tried online at 10:45AM when I saw they were playing here. I couldn't get thru. I went downtown because they were giving away 500 tickets and the line was a mile long. To bad, I wanted to see Ford Field.

You can go on Thursday. :)

Are you offering freebies? LOL!

I just want to see the stadium. I've never been to Ford Field.

Well in that case.

It's a free game so why not we were able to get 4 tickets online Saturday.

I guess. It's just all the idiots that stood in line since last night that I was referring to in my previous post from this freep article.

Metro Detroit residents began showing up the night before, some as early as 7 p.m., for the chance at snagging some of the 500 free tickets to be handed out to see the Buffalo Bills play the New York Jets Monday night. The game was moved from Buffalo after the region was pounded with about 7 feet of snow last week. Recovery efforts there are still under way.

"We're football fans," said Arthur Saffold Jr., 42, of Detroit, standing inside the parking garage beside Ford Field on Brush Street with four other men at 1:30 a.m. "There's about 30 people out here now. As the night progresses, it's going to be a lot more."

It was smart thinking to get in early. At 10 a.m., even some of those who showed up overnight were turned away from the ticket booth. Each person in line would receive two tickets.

Many turned out Sunday after having issues getting tickets through the website handling the digital ticketing. Tickets were supposed to be available at 10 a.m. Saturday, but many reported that the site was either unavailable or crashed on them at that time. Detroiter Leroy Cain said he logged into the online system at 10:02 a.m. with no luck.

"It doesn't look so good as far as getting tickets," Cain, 56, said Sunday morning after getting to Ford Field around 9 a.m. "I can't believe they were sold out so fast when I tried to get some online. It was very difficult just to even get to the area (on the site) to make the purchase. That's a little disappointing."

My girlfriend and I are going to try and 'crash' the game. The Vikings game had 45,000. If the place isn't anywhere near full, I'm hoping they'll let us in. If not, we'll just grab a dinner.

So if they only gave away 500 tickets, that place is gonna be empty. Highly doubt that many jets /bills fans are going to show up

From my understanding it was 500 at the box office on Sunday. That is not including the online tickets. And all season ticket holders for the lions and bills were given tickets.

Over 40,000 given away online,500 at the gate.

Some Bills fans will be driving down.

You can use your season tickets for this game and still get your refund or a credit toward next years seats.

They should have let us know this on Thursday or Friday not Saturday night:(

They also gave us a survey late Sunday on whether we were attending to give the Ford Field folks a heads up on how many seats to hold.

I would guess more tickets will be available at the door tonight.

So place was a good 7/8 full. I ended up sharing one of my tickets with someone who knew the building so I got to see areas I've never seen since the place opened. Then shook hands with Lawrence Taylor coming out of one of the suites. Game was Ok. But weird to see FF painted as another teams home field and not be the Super Bowl. And that darn train horn! Meh.

They use that horn at our home games to get the fans back to making noise after commercial TO's and 3rd downs.

Thanks to Detroit for hosting our game and making our team and fans feel welcome.

I am sure we will reciprocate by buying more Caddies and Camaro's in the coming years;)
