Free: 2 Fork Lifts, need service

i got them, thanks a lot! Don't know much about the electric one but the lp powered one looks like brand new. I'm going to have my tech run through it and fix er up...its the smallest we got right now but i'm sure we could find some use for it.

It's a good unit, auto trans, power steering, just has some issues. We've had it for years, it sat outside for probably 5+ years but we cleaned it up and painted it. Did you start it up and try running it yet? All I can say is if you don't fix the engine right away, get a running start if there's even the slightest bump/incline in the pavement. :lol:

i havent started it yet, but let me guess...it will hold an idle just fine but bog down anytime you put the slightest amount of load on the engine? If so the propane bits need to be serviced as they are freezing up most likely.
 
I'm not sure if I'd describe it like that, but that's possible. It doesn't really bog IIRC, it just takes a long time to actually do anything. Oh, and make sure the wheels are pointed straight from a dead stop or else it won't even get going. :lol: We've had the thing serviced twice, told them all the issues, charged us a fair amount of money and didn't fix a damn thing so I'd hope if it was something that simple they wouldn't have fucked us that bad.

if you need any servicing done in the future get a hold of me. I got a guy seriously knows his shit...and does great work

I'm in the same building as Bill's. I told Rob the owner about them, he said yeah he'll take them.. 5 minutes later you called about getting them towed i was like well at least you got the tow job out of it! NOT! :lol:
