Fraser sink hole...

Can you imagine being in that house and hearing the structure and foundation buckling? Horrifying.

Friend of mine lives across street... They are literally tearing up the neighborhoods to make roads so people can get around...

I can't even imagine. just like that you're homeless. I hope insurance gives them something but as stated above i doubt it.

The news thing i saw said they thought it was a cracked sewage pipe that caused it, if that's the case it would seem to be like the city should be responsible for the house.

Tie my big ass to a rope... I'm going back in there and getting my valuables and stuff that can't be replaced... Fuck that...

I can see the next related news media headline, "Fraser files for bankruptcy and leaves sunken homeowners hanging..."

If I heard correctly, this is the same pipeline that caused a similar hole about 4-5 years ago? Definitely negligence on the city and contractor's part...

Last time was back in '04 on the Sterling Heights side of Hayes. You'd think the contractors would've analyzed the pipes on the other side to determine their condition in order to avert further issues.
