Foxbody Gear question

Basically I have 3.27's currently, I do need to rebuild my 8.8 here this summer. Here's my dilemma, I enjoy having the "length" of 4th for backroad pulls, and for chasing down lt1's ;), I'm scared if I change to 4.10's I won't enjoy my car anymore. I'm not sure how much of a gain I'll pick up?? I've done better than most people with 3.73's at the track. :\ Should I keep the gear and just spray it??

4.10 and a 5 speed with a bolt on motor usually too steep for spray, be lucky if first gear makes it to the 60'. I would go 3.73 if it were me. Specially if you arent running a 28" tire.

Thanks guys!! Yeah I'm running a 26" slick. 3.73's are sounding better to me now lol! It would be nice to be in front of Lt1's before 100mph though ;). Hopefully somebody here will need 3.27's for a turbo setup ;).

Its not hard to be infront of an LT1 lolll I beat lt1s back when my car was EFI i had a gt40 intake, 1.7rrs, long tubes and a 373 gear boom lt1s are done for

Nice, I've raced 3. Got the vette out of the hole, pulled a stock firebird after 50mph, and went from 80mph after a camaro.
3.73 if your thinkn about spray
I'm probably going to spray, I don't see a downside besides finding spray up here.
