Fox Mustang Clutch cable question

Those here with fox mustangs. What clutch cable are you using. I seam to be having issues with mine. I have long tubes and the cable seams kind of close and the pedal is hanging up. Any sugestions on what to do.
 
i have had good luck with a stock one... You may want to buy some fire proof heat tape and wrap it on the cable just a idea

PS if you need a stock cable i have one :thumbsup:
 
I bought the cable kit with the billet quadrant and firewall adjuster from 5.0 Resto. Im running BBK 1 5/8" Longtubes with no issues.
 
stock cable with steeda adjustable quad....if i had to do it again i just would have used the whole stock setup
 
I have also ran stock cables with either steeda or UPR firewall adjusters and billet quadrants. Never had an issue with the long tubes.
 
Stock cable and adjustable Forte kit. Worked great on my 88 LX with BBK long tubes, and made shifting liveable on an already beat up box..
 
I won't buy a clutch cable from anywhere but maximum motorsports. Almost everywhere that you can pick up a cable makes them different than the way the original factory ones were. I went through about 5 cables until I got pissed and ordered one online. I haven't had any troubles with this one.
