if the O2 sensors are unpluged will this open the loop to the ECM so it does not make changes?

think im having a issue with the ECM making changes to the tune while im making changes to compensate.

Yes, it will run open loop since there is no feedback from the sensor.

Just disable adaptives or force ol.
