Fox body running rich?

88 GT 5.0L 5 speed. shorty headers, BBK CAI FRPP 1.6 roller rockers, flowmasters with an x pipe. Coverted to mass air.


car sat 2 years, then the rockers were put on, car sat for another year. Got it back out recently and its running really rich, getting shitty mileage.


changed the plugs/etc.

I would first check fuel pressure, if you can run a gauge and have it by the windshield you can see what it does when driving. Also, the maf is calibrated for the injectors you are running correct?

yep ran great b4 it sat jus started acting up since it got back on the road...

Wouldn't hurt (as a general idea) to clean everything out- throttle body, IAC, EGR, etc.

same tank of shitty fuel? As mentioned, an injector or 5 is possibly sticking or gummed up....

no, def not the same gas, prolly ran 25+ gallons threw it....


cleaning everything will be the next step...
