looking for rear coilover shocks for fox dragradial car. what size and weight spring should i be looking for to start? what size shock as far as heights compressed and extended and stroke? so many to chose from, dont know where to start. do i need double adjustable? car is a 3100 pound mustang with a bbc 2 fogger 3100 pounds, 315 radial. maybe our new sponser team z will chim in.

We use a D/A that set's up at 12-13 inch ride height it's a 5.88 inch stroke and we set it up with 2 inches of compression, on a 3100 pound car i'd use a 110 to 120lb 12 inch spring, If you want a strange Shock that part # is S5006
and works great we use it on 90% of the cars we mini tub!

That was a quick response for a snowy Sunday Dave - always working huh

thanks for the info. i will be calling you. where do you start with a double adjustabe shock? total losed on that one. i have been told because its a radial, use a stiff setting? does that sound right? do you start stiff on both settings? i had single adjustabe bolt in shocks and fought tire shake all year long. How do you go about adjusting double adjustable stuff, as far as what the car is doing, and which settings to adjust.

Not wheelie bars We are updateing it to 25.2 he dosent want wheelie bars!

On the double adjustables on a radial start 2 clicks from full loose on compression and 5 on rebound if you still shake the tires click the compression 1 click untill the shake stops, If your on a good(Fast) track you can lusen things up and the car will 60' better, but 90% of the time Shake on a radial comes from wrong tire pressure!
