I have found a 85 svo mustang that has 5 lug set up in the front was wondering how easy of a swap over this would be to my 90 lx? Anyone ever seen this done or done it? Are parts easy to come by or would I be better off finding a 94 or 95 stuff to work with. Thanks in advance!

Good deal ! I dont have access to the rear stuff but I can also get the steering rack if needed thought i saw somewhere that it was 15:1 ratio good idea as well?

Have to swap the spindle and a-arm's too-SVO parts are different. Found out when was going to swap out my a-arms for ones from a SVO. It's be easier to swap out the front set-up from a Lincoln Mark VII. Or go w/ the 94/95 stuff.

It is a v8 car... will the mark VII rotors work with cobra wheels? To my understanding dust caps are too big?

Thats if I pulled the stuff. I work with the guy so I can find out if he wants to pull it an sell it tho.

I have Lincoln rotors on my 90GT with Anny wheels and a centercap. All you need to do to get that cap to fit is grind a bevel on the hub. Takes about 30 minutes to do both sides. You also cant use a dust cap, which realistically isnt a problem. As a precaution, I siliconed the rear of the cap, esentailly making it into a dust cap. No grease has leaked out either...and its been like that for almost 2 years and 8,000 miles.

Yeah that is a problem. Thought there was a way (modifying the hubs, etc. to get te caps to fit.

ive seen bullet shaped center caps for this issue which would probably only look good on a bullitt rim or you can carefully dent the dust cap to the point that it will clear the center cap and the spindle.

you can dent it all you want, it still wont fit under the center cap...It didnt even fit with no dust cap. I had to dremel about an 1/8" off the back of the center cap plastic as well to get it to fit with no dust cap

ive done it. sorry it doesnt work in your application. grind down the end of the spindle a little and u could try a small spacer if the backspacing is right.
