exactly what I was thinking ,., not sure how it was making oil pressure , maybe the oil was thick or it has a HV/HP oil pump and it was making up for the difference ?

That's very possible.
Im surprised it didn't squeal or make a ton of noise while running tho.

I knew it was the bearing,been saying it for a while but didn't think it would be this bad...The guy that had the engine built sold it in 2011 and told the guy that bought it that the engine had a vibe and needed fixed..Well he never bothered having it taken care of..I have no ideal on how he drove it ect... so IMO,damage was well past a easy fix which could of been replacing the one bearing..
I bought another engine off a member here (fully rebuilt) but had Hyper pistons..The engine that was in the car had maybe 15,000 miles with TRW Forged pistons so I swapped pistons and rods which I finished tonight..Sucks the guy before me didn't take care of it right away because it wasn't even fully broke in,rings still had the black on all of them...
Well heres the 2nd video (forgot to post with the first one) and pics of the one I finished tonight..
I bought another engine off a member here (fully rebuilt) but had Hyper pistons..The engine that was in the car had maybe 15,000 miles with TRW Forged pistons so I swapped pistons and rods which I finished tonight..Sucks the guy before me didn't take care of it right away because it wasn't even fully broke in,rings still had the black on all of them...

Yea..... bearing looks great on the crank side because it was spinning in the block at the same RPM as the crank. lol.
That sucks but at least you have 2 engines to bounce back and forth on with parts/building.

Nope,wasn't always spinning..From the looks of the bearing,it spun until it come half way out of the cap/block and jammed..Really odd because I never saw this before but,I also have no ideal how the guy before me treated it..
Looked through my notes yesterday and the engine doesn't even have 15,000 miles on it..Real shame it wasn't taken care of because everything in the block still looked new,rings still have the black coat on them so not even broke in yet..
The short block I bought from a MM member..Its a fully rebuilt Jasper engine which was never installed or fired..Has .30 over Hyper/non forged pistons so I swapped piston/rods,put the .30 over TRW forged pistons in it..Used the new rod bearings and bolts that come with the Jasper engine so its fully rebuilt again lol..I'll be glad when its done but sucks because its winter now...
