Just another season of follow the leader. If it wasn't for Sebring, there wouldn't be any good road racing this month. At least Long Beach has the celebrity race in April :secret: .

Hopefully this season picks up were last season left off...minus the McLaren drama.
My money is on Hamilton.

Sebring is also this weekend!

:rockwoot:
I've been waiting for the new season. It will be a little more interesting now there is not traction & launch control on the cars. The standing starts will be a little more of a smoke show and might actually require a bit of talent. From the preliminary testing I've been reading about, this season should be a good one.

Sebring? LongBeach?!! wrong series....

I know it's not F1. Sportscar racing is far better than F1 (or Indy anything for that matter). I'm looking forward to Sebring. I've been four times (two as a corner worker in '92 & '93) and would have gone this year, but I got tickets to see the Tigers vs the Yankees instead. I hoping to see the World Challenge race at Road Atlanta later this year.

ALMS is great racing.

Times eleventy-billion! I've been to Sebring once and Daytona (for the 24 Hrs) five times. Endurance racing is where it's at.

The thing that makes SCCA W/C, IMSA and ALMS so great is the close racing on traditional race tracks like Daytona, Sebring, Road Atlanta, Mid-Ohio and Laguna Seca. No (or very few) B/S street racing. The only three NASCAR races I make a point to be home for are Watkins Glen, Sonoma and Mexico City.

I'd like to see the city make a dedicated track on Belle Isle similar to the island track in Montreal.
