ford fuel pump issue

2004 ford expedition 4.6 2wd, the fuel pump quit yesterday does any one have any tips or tricks to test it before I drop the tank? Thanks fellas

this ,., if the pumps dead and you give it enuff of a jolt it may turn over , just like beating a starter with a hammer

test for contanaunity at the fuel pump relay??

Just did one on an f150....if you can heart the relay....the pump is gone

Throw a gauge on the fuel rail and see if you get any pressure.
