Ford Escort Cosworth... what's it worth?

Let's say I was able to legally import a '92 Escort Cosworth from Germany. Maybe around 80,000mi and in good condition. Any guesses what it would fetch? I've scoured the web and there isn't anything to get a baseline from. experts to get a real value on that rare one.

Mine would only be a guess, the one on Ebay only
had 10,000 miles & the bidding went north of $20,000.

Yours with 80K & in excellent condition, $8,000 to $12,000?
(I'd rather guess low than high.)

Meh probably wouldn't be worth it then. I might be traveling to Europe and thought I might be able to find some sort of unicorn to bring back. They're selling in the mid 20k euro range over there.

You're going to spend a lot to get it here and make it road worthy.
I follow a few forums with people who adore these cars, and would love to have one, but by the time its here they're 50-80k and end up being priced out of reach. if you go and even see anything, post photos, I'd be interested...

Yeah, 50k is about the minimum I'd want to get to justify the huge hassle of getting one over here. I'm making a mental list of all the cars I want to see over there. M5 wagon is another one.
