Ford ALternator Question

What factory ford alternator has a similar plug setup as a fox style alternator but is more amps? any suggesstions?

NONE. Get the 3g alternator and 4g wire and a 150amp in-line fuse and be done with it. Simple and easy hook up.

I second that .. takes like 20 minutes to do..

the most time consuming part would be cutting the corner out of the factory bracket for clearence.. but its only a lil peice like 1"x .75"

I just went with a one wire, much cleaner look and was a 5 second install...

I have a low mile 3G alternator for sale, I used it on my Fox Mustang. $50.

I went with an alternator from a 3.0l Aerostar. It's not as strong as the 3g ,but it's stronger than stock, and it gave me more room for the downpipe.

I wish it was a thumper. It's not, but.....a thumper would now fit if I wanted it to
