ford 8.8 into camaro

i was wondering, i want to get rid of the crappy 10 bolt in my 96 z28 on a budget. i know of a few ford 8.8s that i can get for dirt cheap. what would i have to do to get this to bolt up and work with my car? my suspension and brakes are stock as is right now.

i am asking this because i have heard of someone else doing this.

Its been done, but its not that easy. The 8.8 is a four link style and the Z has a torque arm. You will need to have a mount welded onto the 8.8 for the arm to bolt to. You are better off waiting for find a used rear end, 12 bolt or a 9 inch.
 
thanks guys, ill look on tech. im on a hunt for a 9" i have a 6 speed and i hear/seen the 12 bolts arnt manual friendly
