This may fall under the stupid question catagory, but is there a way to clearance a 351W block for a stroker kit without putting together, checking, and taking apart 100 times?

Find a machinist who has worked with your stroker kit a few times. I thought a company called DSS had CNC block maching and that they could preclearance it for you.

Clearance

Mocked up the rotator last night, and found out that I didn't need to clearance anywhere! Did a couple cylinders twice, just to make sure, but I have plenty of clearance. Not sure why, but its OK. Thanks to all that replied via PM!

Are you running I-Beam Rods ? if so that proboaly why.

i built a 393 stroker (351W ford, .030 overbore, 3.85" stroke). ran SCAT h-beam rods and cast steel crank. had to clearance around the arp rod bolts because it did hit the outer cylinder walls. i actually botched it by grinding in the wrong places and had to do it again, but it turned out fine. the proper location is the place where the forwardmost rod on the opposite side of its cylinder passes near the wall. about an inch forward of each wall centerline is where i put mine.

Yes, I am using I beams. I can see where an H beam would need more room.

Did you measure the clearence using feeler gauge? I can look it up if you are interested

Just wondering I forget what the measurement is, but my dad and I had to stroker clearence his 351w. We just used a dremel and did it ourselves, it was a pretty easy job.

But of my 302 the machine stop remembered to stroker clearence it haha
