I'm selling my car that i had plans on doing up in the spring so i can pay of a student loan. Its a 1986 Nissane 300zx single turbo 5 speed. It has the t3 60trim turbo with no shaft play.i painted the car flat black and added a cold air intake and am running open downpipe so its kinda loud but whistles and sound sweet. Just those mods i ran a 14.3@96 launching only at 3krpms. might i add stock boost is only 6psi, have a manual boost controller on it and it'll hit around 8psi before the popoff valve opens, thats a valve to relieve pressure incase the wastegate fails. almost sounds like a blowoff valve its a fun and fast car to drive it needs work but if you want something to just drive around thats quick then here is a perect car for you. if you added a intercooler and turned the boost up with some better tires you could easily hit a mid to low 13.
everything on the car is power, the motor was rebuilt 4 years ago and has around 50k on it, i bought it from a friend who rebuilt the engine and trans at his college. it has a valve cover that is leaking but its nothign major! the fuel gauge doesn't work but the warning light does come on to tell you when your low on gas. theres a loose connection in the dash because it has came on before. i just haven't had time to tear the dash apart.
the rear is gutted, car has t-tops. needs a rear strut and thats about it. everything else is in good and working order.
this was my d/d basically until snow hit now i use my 4wd blazer. i've taken it on 2 trips both 2 hrs one way. its a good car with alot of potential
