Got my Friend jasons car up and running today. Its a real strong running car, put some good hard miles on it and some test passes, pulls like crazy. then come to find out that the timing was off by about 15 degrees, fixed that and runs even stronger.

We need some better pics. Looks like OJ has some competion in the "Pretty 4 eye'd fox" area
 
I dont have too many from today, I'll have to take some more next time..we spent alot of time getting little things fixed (oil being blown out of the dipstick ETC) but i do have some sweet video footage of it making a practice pass out by willow run airport, i just dont know how to post video clips.
 
God that color is hot. I need to swing on over to Jeff's house...I see Jasons car out there all the time.

Some more pics..

The car has fresh paint on it and still needs to be wheeled and buffed, and some wet sanding, but him and his brother have got a serious amount of time of body work on that car, youd have a very hard time finding a wave or ding in that car. Also they got alot of time sheetmetaling and cleaning up the engine bay if you look you will see what im talking about.

Yeah its been sittin out all torn down with the motor out. Got the motor back in on thrusday night, got all the exhuast and what not done friday, then got it running saturday morning after alot of hell, then had to tear all the exhaust off to re-torque the AFR heads, then put it all back together. But after all the shit, hes pretty damn happy with the results. I cant imagine how that car would react to a 175 shot...


Anyway, would it be tough for me to post a 10 second video clip with a 56k internet connection.

i'll try to email them later tonight if i can, i gotta go out to eat. If not maybe if your home tomarow after noon i'll just bring the memory stick over and load it up... Some pretty sweet footage.

Of and if course beau up at trendsetters laid down the Jewel red paint, pretty much a one-of car. Ph and BTW beau, jason said thanks for the timing light, it was off by 15 degrees.
