Follow up on Ann Arbor Acura that offered 4k on my wife's BMW

I had a similar problem when my sister was looking for a new car. Her trade in was a 2003 Toyota Corolla with 60k miles. She got offers from $4000 to $7500. And that was even 2 Jeep dealers.

She ended up trading it in for a Trailblazer for $7500.

Ken, if you can't sell the BMW by the spring we can set it up as a demolition derby car.

I've always wanted to do that...

Screw that. We'll gut it, put in a 5 speed, a cage, and the M3 suspension package, and run endurance races with it.

Ken - did you ask the second dealer how much they'd give you on the Bimmer? What would you have done had they offered you $3,500?

Well you guys dont know that his TL is 75% NA parts, and built in Ohio, so I bet its more american than alot of "american" branded cars. :)

Good luck with the TL, I have a 6 speed CL Type S and its been great.

I bought it from AA Acura, and they were pretty decent with me. Took $1500 off sticker, plus gave me a $1500 extended warranty for free, and threw on a $300 spoiler. I didnt even bother trying to trade my car in, dealerships are horrible about that everywhere.
