So Tim from AA Acura called me this morning wanting to know if I was able to check KBB value for the BMW:icon_mrgr

"Hey, Ken did you get a chance to check the KBB value of your BMW?"

" Tim, are you serious? Of course I checked it, I checked it before I even met with you. Did you reconsider your insulting offer?"

"We valued it at what it's worth?"

"Did you reconsider my $20k offer on the 2006 TL w/nav?"

pause

"do you really this $20k is a reasonable offer for that car?"


"Do you really think 4k is a reasonable offer for my BMW?"

pause

"Yes I think it's fair."

"In that case I'll make a new offer of $17k for the TL, If you think you should get my car for less than 1/2 of trade in value the I should get the TL at less than 1/2 of retail value, that's only fair. BTW you really should reconsider the way you do business, the KBB trade in value is $9,870 and FYI I would have bought a new TL from you that day if you didn't insult me with a $4k offer, also I bought a new TL last week for another dealership. You really should learn more about cars if your going to be selling them for a living. Have a good day & thanks for wasting my time."

I haven't taken delivery yet, Jeff is taking care of it. They had to get the car from Ohio & install back up senors & a remote starter. I'm hoping for this week sometime.
 
Glad to hear that it all worked out. Too bad the American auto companies don't make anything to compete for your purchasing dollars. :sad:

my wifes friend went to buy a G6 over the weekend and the saleman was a complete a$$ to her
so she left without buying one

I can't belive they had the nerve to call back. Must have really needed business.

So all is going good with Jeff than I see. :)
 
You may not be buying an Amercian product, but at least you are buying from a board member.
