My car pushes through the brakes with street tires, I'll find out how bad it will be with slicks tonight. I've done a little searching, not sure what to get. For those who have done it, should I do the rear disc conversion at the same time?
I've looked at SLP's, and TCI as well on summit. But that's about it.

Was thinking the same thing. It's either your front brakes need to be checked/fixed or your technique is way off. Shouldn't have a problem at all spinning the tires without the car moving with rear drum brakes. If your trying to use a lineloc as a trans brake off the line that isn't really their purpose.

ANd your line lonck is only as good as what you can push with your foot anyways.
 
Well, 1st gear is fine, but a second gear clutch dump, holding the brakes, my car just starts rolling forward, bogging etc.
I'll need a line lock to keep me from moving in the burn box with the slicks.
3:45, is what I'm talking about. Can't really see it from that angle :| But I held the brakes till the smoke was over my roof.
Intended purpose is for slicks + burnout box. :\
This is a t-5 car, my bad :s
 
I see...in a box you will have no problems. I used to do 2nd gear burn outs with factory v8 brakes all the time at teh track. But i like hte B&M kit, and they have an install kit for Fox cars too.

Sweet, Thanks. I'll look into that one as well. :). I'm a little clumsy with feet during this... especially if I'm racing an F-body. Just slowly making my car into what I want, and doing it the right way .. unlike the previous owners -.-.
 
It just rolls through em. I can feel the front brakes slip and the tires starting to roll.
Hmm, its sounding like, the ones from summit are working for you guys?? My posi was a PITA tonight. Supposedly only lit up my passenger tire a few times. :(
