First take at hydrographics

slideways

Been wanting to try this out for awhile, just got around to taking my first crack at it tonight and while things didn't turn out flawlessly it was a great learning experience, going to upgrade my makeshift setup and try a few more parts out next week. This is some pretty cool stuff and I'm looking foward to working with it more.

My first take on hydrographics:

Joking aside, it looks good. Is carbon the only pattern, or are there more?

A friend of mine does it, he can get pretty much ant pattern you want. Plus IIRC he said you can even give him a picture of a graphic you want and it can be made for hydro graphics.

The carbon wheels look great slideways, I think pretty much all of the work you post looks amazing. Definitely have some talent there.

Thanks guys! I believe there are 170ish patterns available to order, and also with custom films available and the ability to layer films you really can do a lot with this stuff.

Any idea if this can be done to atv plastics? I know automotive clearcoat is usually applied but how durable is the film/ink itself? Flexible?

Looks good!

Yes this is big for atv plastics, typically drag quad type of stuff durability could be an issue on a quad in the trails

Looks great! I'll get some parts rounded up for you to experiment with next week.

Somehow I missed your post earlier, let me know what you got and how you want it done!

hmmm? Get camo and start dipping peoples deer skulls, tis the season.

Have heard that is pretty popular for this, I stay pretty busy as is so I think I will be sticking to automotive/atv applications
