I have tons of maple firewood in my backyard from the tornado a few weeks ago. It's cut into logs, but the logs range from 14" to 42" in diameter. You're welcome to split it in my backyard or take it as is. I'm located near Mt. Clemens Hospital. If you want firewood, send me a pm with your phone number, and I will call you.

If it just came down it won't be ready for this winter, it'll be a sizzling/bubbling/dirty burning mess.

Its silver maple. I burned a half a truck load up north last week and it burned nicely.
