Congrats on the new brakes, I treated myself to a set of Strange race all the way around my ride.

I wonder if they fit better than these Aerospace. For a "bolt on" kit I sure had to the use die grinder and saw-zall a lot :bs: :pow:

they work good, i had just the fronts and it didnt help much i was kinda pissed, and then i put rears on with the strange master cylinder and it was awesome it would stop great, make sure you put on the big master cylinder or it wont work right...

You'll love them at the track and just watch the heat cylcing on the street. Remember that 8,000 miles and over 50 passes is getting towards the time to open them up and check the bearings if you do hot lap tuning on the street dohhh!. :D

I chewed up the outer bearing race on the passenger side and 14 pretty little Timken bearings went on a floating tour and they quickly became 13 and a lot of burned looking metalic grease. :D The good news is Strange has all the replacement parts in stock and they arrive the next day. :)

Strange included a template that shows where to grind off as well. I'll snap some pics when I get mine finished.

I don't see that much street use anymore so I'll probbaly just check them over once a season. I just got the engine bay painted and I dread having to drain the brake fluid and try not to drip a drop. I also have to change out the prop valve and put in a line lock for those past the starting line burnouts.

F-body kit is one of the few that actually uses a Strange Aftermarket aluminum machined hub. Some addtional weight reduction and probably takes care of any clearance issues they had on the stock hubs.

I think there was some initial clearancing that Phil needed to work out with the full BMR Fabrication front end but the inner wheel clearance is good on the Weld Prostars.
